This Belgian-style Saison pours a luminous pale orange, offering a vibrant sensory experience defined by the infusion of summer peaches. The aroma is a complex tapestry of fresh stone fruit layered over classic peppery phenols and soft, citrusy esters. Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange (SRM 6-8). Dense, rocky white head with excellent retention and significant Belgian lacing. Unfiltered with a slight to moderate haze.
Aroma. High intensity. Prominent fresh peach esters dominate, complemented by moderate spicy phenols reminiscent of cracked black pepper. Low earthy and floral hop notes. Beneath the fruit and spice lies a subtle, grainy, crackery malt presence.
Taste. Initial impression of ripe peach followed quickly by a spicy, peppery yeast character. Malt flavor is low to moderate with a soft, rustic graininess. Hop bitterness is moderate, providing a clean counterpoint to the fruit. The finish is remarkably dry and crisp, with a lingering spicy and fruit-skin aftertaste.
