Avalancha Bruma presents as a quintessential Hazy IPA, defined by its striking tropical fruit profile and exceptionally smooth texture. The inclusion of flaked oats provides a high, silky body that carries an explosion of mango, pineapple, and passion fruit aromas. Its pale golden hue is characterized by a dense, opaque haze and a thick, meringue-like white head. On the palate, the hop intensity is high but approachable, offering a juicy depth balanced by a soft, restrained bitterness. This Chilean craft beer finishes with a clean, pillowy mouthfeel, emphasizing fruit-forward biotransformation over sharp resinous notes or harsh bitterness.
Appearance. Pale gold to light amber (4-6 SRM). Uniformly hazy and opaque with a characteristic shine; large, rocky, meringue-like white head with very high retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent tropical fruit, guava, and stone fruit notes. Subtle, grainy, and bready malt in the background. Clean fermentation profile with supportive fruity esters and no detectable alcohol or diacetyl.
Taste. High to very high tropical fruit hop flavor with a juicy character. Low to medium-low bready malt flavor provides a soft foundation. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as low-to-mild due to the substantial body. Finishes off-dry and smooth with a lingering fruit-skin aftertaste that lacks any harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full to full body with a notably silky, creamy texture derived from the oats. Moderate carbonation. Extremely smooth and pillowy on the palate with no astringency and very well-integrated alcohol warmth.
