Nelson Sauvin leads with its signature sticky white wine and crushed gooseberry notes, while Nectaron adds layers of ripe passionfruit and juicy pineapple. The addition of Superdelic contributes a unique candy-like sweetness reminiscent of lollipops and red berries. Despite its low alcohol content, the beer maintains a hop-forward focus with a clean fermentation character. Appearance. Medium gold (6 SRM) with a slight haze. Topped by a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves delicate lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of white wine, gooseberry, and tropical pineapple. A distinct sweet berry and candy-like scent is present alongside passionfruit. Low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral background with no perceivable alcohol.
Taste. The initial impression is intensely fruity, echoing the aroma with flavors of pineapple, passionfruit, and white wine. Medium-high hop bitterness is immediate but clean. Low grainy malt flavors provide a brief support before transitioning into a dry, hoppy finish with a lingering tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Light body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp, prickly sensation on the tongue. No alcohol warmth is present, and there is no astringency despite the high hop load.
