Das Ozeanische Gefühl is a vibrant Hazy IPA that captures a deep, oceanic sensory profile through its use of Cashmere and Riwaka hops. This expression pours with a signature opaque glow, releasing a tidal wave of tropical aromatics. The Riwaka provides a punchy, zesty citrus and passionfruit core, while the Cashmere adds layers of smooth melon and subtle herbal complexity. The mouthfeel is characteristically soft and plush, typical of the style, supporting a palate saturated with juicy stone fruit and kumquat. It finishes with a delicate, integrated bitterness that invites the next sip, embodying a modern, fruit-forward profile.
Appearance. Straw to light orange (4-6 SRM). Opaque, hazy clarity with a signature shine. Topped with a medium, meringue-like white head showing high retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring intense passionfruit, pink grapefruit, and sweet melon. Background notes of neutral, lightly bready malt. Clean fermentation profile with supportive fruity esters.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor of passionfruit, peach, and zesty lime. Low, grainy malt flavor provides a neutral canvas. Low to medium-low perceived bitterness that is smooth and non-harsh. The finish is off-dry and juicy with a lingering tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky texture. Moderate carbonation. Subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth. No astringency or raw starch character.
