Astor Birra Tolosauer 2 presents a vibrant, sessionable expression of a Wild Specialty Beer. At a refreshing 3.3% ABV, it radiates a tropical bouquet dominated by the tart, sulfuric punch of Maracuyá and the lush, floral musk of Guava. The citrus brightness of Mandarina layers in a zesty complexity that cuts through the wild, funky undertones of the fermentation. The palate is sharply acidic and bone-dry, allowing the fruit essences to linger without residual sugar. Effervescent and light, this wild ale balances its rustic, barnyard character with an explosion of sun-ripened fruit, delivering a crisp, highly drinkable sensory experience.

Appearance. Straw to pale gold with a soft orange-pink hue from the fruit; moderate haze with a white, effervescent head that dissipates quickly into a thin ring; minimal lacing.

Aroma. High intensity of tropical fruit; prominent Maracuyá and Guava provides a musky, sweet, and slightly sulfuric character, while Mandarina adds a sharp citrus zest. Secondary notes of funky Brettanomyces, featuring light barnyard, hay, and a lactic lemony tartness.

Taste. Initial impression is sharply tart and refreshing. The Maracuyá and Guava flavors dominate the mid-palate, complemented by a bright Mandarina citrus edge. Bitterness is very low, as the profile is driven by lactic acidity. The finish is bone-dry and crisp with a lingering tropical fruit skin aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Light body with high carbonation that provides a prickly, cleansing sensation. Very low alcohol warmth. A slight fruity astringency adds to the perceived dryness without becoming harsh.
