This imposing Imperial Stout presents a decadent sensory journey, heavily influenced by its extensive conditioning in bourbon barrels. The aroma is a powerful blend of charred oak, rich vanilla, and spirit-forward warmth, layered over a foundation of dark chocolate and espresso. On the palate, luscious caramel and creamy vanilla bean meld with deep-roasted malts, evoking indulgent flavors of toffee and flourless chocolate cake. The high viscosity creates a velvety, coating texture that carries a gentle bourbon heat through a long, bittersweet finish. Hints of dark fruit like raisins and plums emerge as the glass warms, providing a complex, vinous counterpoint to the sweetness.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (40+ SRM). A dense, persistent dark mocha head leaves thick, oily lacing. High viscosity is apparent in the slow-moving legs on the glass.
