As Cervesa

As Komodin is a refreshing Non-Alcoholic Pale Ale that defies the typical cloying sweetness often found in alcohol-free offerings. It leads with a clean cereal malt profile, balanced by a crisp, moderate bitterness. The late addition of Centennial hops provides a distinctive herbal and light citrus aromatic character that persists through to a remarkably dry finish. Despite the low gravity, it maintains an expressive sensory profile where the woody and floral notes of the Centennial variety shine against a lean, grainy backdrop, making it a highly drinkable craft option for those seeking a full-flavored experience without the alcohol.

Appearance. Light gold (4 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a frothy, bright white head that shows moderate retention and leaves light lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring clean, crackery cereal malt notes. Distinctive herbal and floral hop character from Centennial is prominent, accompanied by faint hints of lemon zest. Fermentation is clean with no perceptible esters or dimethyl sulfide.

Taste. Initial impression is of crisp, toasted grain and pale malt. The hop flavor is decidedly herbal and earthy, reflecting the Centennial dry-hopping. It possesses a moderate bitterness that balances the light malt spine. Unlike many non-alcoholic beers, it finishes quite dry and clean without any lingering worty sweetness.

Mouthfeel. Light-bodied and thin but refreshing. Carbonation is moderately high, providing a prickly, effervescent sensation that enhances the dry finish. There is zero alcohol warmth and no astringency.
