Arbor Ales

This modern American Pale Ale showcases a vibrant, fruit-forward profile driven by a heavy-handed addition of Bru-1, Citra, Eclipse, and Galaxy hops. The experience is defined by a 'juicy' sensory character, where the Bru-1 contributes distinct notes of fresh pineapple while Galaxy and Eclipse provide layers of passionfruit and sweet mandarin zest. A lean, bready malt base provides just enough support for the intense hop aromatics without adding heavy caramel sweetness. The finish is remarkably clean and refreshing, emphasizing a crisp, moderate bitterness and the lingering citrus brightness typical of the Citra hop variety.

Appearance. Pale golden (6 SRM) with a slight, modern hop haze. Topped by a moderately large, frothy white head with excellent retention and significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Moderately high hop aroma featuring a complex blend of tropical pineapple, ripe passionfruit, and bright citrus zest. Low neutral, grainy-bready maltiness provides a clean background. Fermentation profile is exceptionally clean with only subtle fruity esters.

Taste. The initial impression is hop-forward and juicy, echoing the aroma with flavors of pineapple, lime, and peach. Malt flavor is low and bready, supporting a moderate hop bitterness that remains smooth and never harsh. The balance leans heavily toward the late-addition hops, resulting in a medium-dry and crisp finish with a clean, lingering citrus aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate to high carbonation that enhances the crisp finish. Smooth texture throughout with no detectable alcohol warmth or astringency.
