This collaborative Hazy IPA offers a vibrant sensory journey, lead by a triple threat of Citra, Mosaic, and Idaho 7 hops. The aroma is an intense bouquet of tropical mango and passion fruit from the Mosaic, sharpened by Citra's bright tangerine and Idaho 7's notes of stone fruit and resinous pine. Its mouthfeel is exceptionally soft and pillowy, carrying a medium-full body that allows the lush fruit flavors to saturate the palate without harshness. The finish is balanced and off-dry, emphasizing 'juicy' character over bitterness, creating a highly drinkable anniversary ale that exemplifies the modern New England style.
Appearance. Pale gold to light amber (4-6 SRM); opaque, hazy clarity with a distinct luminous shine; large, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring mango, pineapple, and passion fruit with secondary notes of citrus zest and apricot. Background malt is clean, bready, and grainy. Esters are fruity and supportive, with no perceivable hop grassiness or diacetyl.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor of tropical fruit and citrus; low, bready malt sweetness provides a supportive base. Perceived bitterness is low to medium-low, appearing soft and well-integrated. The finish is off-dry and smooth, featuring a lingering fruity aftertaste without any sharp or harsh hop burn.
