Splash is a vibrant Hazy IPA that artfully balances a lean, dry structure with the delicate, creamy sweetness of milk sugar. The sensory profile is dominated by the unique coconut and tropical fruit character of Sabro hops, which harmonizes with the ripe stone fruit and zesty pine notes provided by Idaho 7. These hops create a lush, juice-like experience against a backdrop of neutral, grainy malts. The beer presents a characteristic hazy, golden glow with a persistent, rocky head. Despite the lactose addition, it maintains excellent drinkability, finishing with soft, restrained bitterness and a lingering tropical fruit essence.
Appearance. Color is a deep straw to golden (4-5 SRM). Appearance is hazy and opaque with a luminous quality. Features a medium-sized, rocky, white head with high retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent coconut, pineapple, and tropical cream, balanced by ripe apricot, mango, and a faint resinous pine. Malt is low and neutral, presenting as lightly bready, while the milk sugar adds a subtle, sweet dairy note.
Taste. High hop flavor of coconut, tangerine, and stone fruit. The malt provides a low, grainy support, while the milk sugar contributes a soft, off-dry sweetness. Bitterness is low to moderate and very smooth, never harsh. The finish is soft and slightly fruity with a clean fermentation profile.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, smooth, and rounded texture. Carbonation is moderate. No alcohol warmth is perceived, and the beer is completely free of hop-derived astringency.
