A decadent sensory journey, this Wild Specialty Beer pours with an intensely vibrant, opaque violet-purple hue. Aromas of freshly baked vanilla muffins, brown sugar, and rich, jammy blueberries leap from the glass, underpinned by a lactic tartness. The palate is treated to a lush, dessert-like experience where concentrated blueberry puree flavors meld with sweet cake-like malt and a touch of cinnamon spice. A clean, refreshing acidity balances the initial doughy sweetness, keeping this pastry sour remarkably drinkable despite its rich profile. The mouthfeel is thick and velvety, delivering a sumptuous, liquid pastry finish.
Appearance. Deep violet-purple, completely opaque with a thick, smoothie-like consistency. Pours with a dense, pinkish-purple head that shows moderate retention and leaves a vibrant, colorful lacing on the glass.
