Amundsen’s Instant Swagger is a vibrant Hazy IPA defined by a saturated, multi-layered hop profile. It leads with a punchy aromatic bouquet of pink grapefruit and dried roses from Talus, intertwined with the ripe mango and pineapple notes of Azacca. Mosaic and Citra bring deep layers of blueberry and zesty lime, while Idaho 7 contributes a subtle resinous undertone and stone fruit complexity. The sensory experience is remarkably smooth, supported by a soft, bready malt backbone that carries these intense hop oils through a juicy, low-bitterness finish. This beer epitomizes the modern, fruit-forward intensity and soft character typical of the style.

Appearance. Pale gold (4 SRM). Thick, creamy, meringue-like white head with high retention and substantial lacing. Opaque clarity with a characteristic hazy shine.

Aroma. High intensity. Intense tropical fruit (mango, pineapple), citrus (tangerine), and unique floral-woodsy notes from Talus. Malt character is low, grainy, and lightly bready. Moderate fruity fermentation esters are present and supportive of the hop profile.

Taste. Juicy and fruit-forward initial impression. High hop flavors of mango, berry, and stone fruit from Mosaic and Idaho 7, alongside bright Citra citrus. Low-medium soft bitterness (35 IBU context) that is non-lingering. Fruity fermentation character. Balanced heavily toward hops with a smooth, off-dry, lingering fruity finish.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Light alcohol warmth. Smooth overall with no hop-derived astringency or harshness.
