This decadent Imperial Stout envelops the senses in a luxurious liquid dessert experience, heavily influenced by its pastry-inspired additions. A rich wave of freshly roasted coffee beans and dark cacao nibs leads the aromatic charge, beautifully softened by the sweet, creamy presence of vanilla beans. Warm, spicy baker's cinnamon cuts through the deep, sugary layers, evoking freshly fried churros dusted in spiced sugar. Flaked oats and wheat build an incredibly velvety, thick chassis that carries these intense flavors seamlessly, culminating in a warming, bittersweet finish where roasty espresso notes and sweet vanilla linger long after the sip.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque. It pours with a thick, dense, dark brown head of moderate retention, leaving oily legs on the sides of the glass that indicate high viscosity and strength.

Aroma. Intensely high aroma dominated by rich espresso coffee and decadent cacao nibs, layered with sweet vanilla beans and a distinct, warm dusting of spicy cinnamon. Underneath, a deep, sweet malt base provides hints of dark chocolate and toasted bread, with low dark fruit esters and no hop aroma.

Taste. An indulgent initial impression of sweet chocolate-covered churros and rich, freshly brewed coffee. The mid-palate reveals layers of warming cinnamon, sweet vanilla, and dark roasted malt flavor. Hop bitterness is low to moderate, serving only to prevent the beer from becoming cloying against the intense malt and adjunct sweetness. The finish is lingering, sweet, and complexly layered with espresso and warm spices.

Mouthfeel. Very full-bodied, viscous, and chewy, with a velvety, luscious texture enhanced by flaked oats and wheat. Carbonation is low to moderate. A smooth, noticeable alcohol warmth is present, reflecting the high gravity without being sharp or hot.
