This celebratory Imperial Stout offers an opulent sensory experience, pouring with the density of liquid silk. The aroma is dominated by intense bourbon barrel notes of vanilla and charred oak, layered over deep toffee and rich chocolate. On the palate, the red velvet inspiration manifests as a complex interplay of bittersweet cocoa and a subtle, creamy tang evocative of cheesecake. While the underlying malt profile provides a sturdy backbone of roasted grain, the barrel aging lends a smooth, integrated alcohol warmth. The result is a harmonious, dessert-forward profile with a decadent, lingering finish of caramel and dark chocolate.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (40+ SRM). It supports a thick, deep tan head with moderate retention and leaves significant oily legs on the glass, indicative of its high viscosity and alcohol content.

Aroma. High intensity with a complex bouquet of rich chocolate, burnt sugar, and toffee. Prominent bourbon-derived characters of vanilla, coconut, and toasted oak meld with subtle lactic creaminess and dark fruit esters like black cherry and plum. Hop aroma is absent, overshadowed by malt and barrel influence.

Taste. The initial impression is intensely sweet and decadent, featuring flavors of dark chocolate and buttery toffee. A distinct red velvet cocoa character is present, supported by a rich, cheesecake-like creaminess. Bitterness is low to moderate, providing just enough balance to prevent cloying. The finish is long and warming, with persistent notes of vanilla-soaked oak and roasted malt.

Mouthfeel. Full to very full-bodied with a viscous, chewy, and velvety texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. A smooth, significant alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, coating the palate without any harshness or astringency.
