These varieties provide a firm, piney bitterness and vibrant layers of citrus marmalade that cut through the malt richness. The result is a balanced, medium-bodied beer that marries traditional German malt elegance with the bright, resinous aromatics of modern hop varieties for a refreshing, lingering finish.
Appearance. Copper to light reddish-amber (SRM 10–14) with bright clarity and a large, persistent off-white head that leaves delicate lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring rich, toasty Munich malt with notes of fresh bread and biscuit. These are complemented by a modern hop profile of citrus marmalade and light resinous pine; clean fermentation character with no esters.
Taste. Leading with soft, elegant malt complexity characterized by bready-rich and toasty flavors.
