The initial impression is dominated by rich, velvet-like dark chocolate and creamy lactose sweetness, characteristic of a classic milk stout. As the palate develops, the ancho chilli introduces a complex layer of dried fruit and earthy spice, culminating in a delicate, lingering warmth that perfectly offsets the residual sugar. The 7% ABV adds a sophisticated depth and smooth texture, ensuring the beer feels substantial yet balanced. It captures the essence of a Mexican Molé, harmonizing roasted malts with spicy, decadent confectionery notes.
Appearance. Opaque and deep ebony in color (SRM 38+). It supports a dense, creamy, persistent tan head with fine lacing.
