Ampersand Brew Co’s Bidon is a refreshing Blonde Ale designed for ultimate drinkability. It presents a vibrant sensory profile driven by a generous addition of late-kettle Citra and El Dorado hops. The Citra hops impart bright citrus and tropical fruit layers, while the El Dorado contributes distinctive notes of succulent peach and stone fruit. These hop characteristics are supported by a crisp, grainy malt backbone that provides a clean foundation without becoming heavy. The experience concludes with a notably dry, thirst-quenching finish. Balanced and approachable, it avoids aggressive bitterness, emphasizing a bright hop bouquet and a light, snappy malt body perfect for sessionable enjoyment.

Appearance. Pale gold to light yellow (SRM 3-4); brilliant clarity with a fine-textured, white head showing moderate retention and light lacing.

Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring forward notes of tropical fruit, mango, and ripe peach from the El Dorado and Citra hops, layered over a light, neutral grainy malt base. Low fruity esters; clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial soft, bready malt sweetness quickly gives way to expressive hop flavors of citrus zest and stone fruit. Medium-low bitterness provides balance without lingering. The finish is crisp and medium-dry, leaving a faint hint of tropical fruit on the palate.

Mouthfeel. Light to medium-light body with moderate-high carbonation, creating a prickly and refreshing sensation. Entirely smooth with zero alcohol warmth.
