Amager Bryghus Onna-musha is a sophisticated Hazy IPA that showcases the expressive potential of London Fog yeast against a complex hop backdrop. A sturdy grist of Pilsner, Cara-Pils, and substantial additions of Oat malt and Wheat malt provide a silky, pillowy foundation. This canvas allows the unique combination of Sabro and Sorachi Ace to shine, delivering distinct layers of creamy coconut and bright lemongrass. Simcoe adds essential depth with notes of passion fruit and resinous pine, while Columbus provides a subtle, earthy grounding. At 7% ABV, it strikes a balance between lush tropical fruit intensity and a soft, approachable finish with restrained bitterness.

Appearance. SRM 3-6. Ranges from deep straw to a glowing orange-gold. Opaque with a characteristic hazy shine but free of yeast clumps. Features a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent coconut, lemongrass, and passion fruit. Fermentation esters from the London Fog yeast contribute notes of peach and apricot. The malt character is low and bready, offering a clean, doughy background without any toasted or caramel notes.

Taste. High fruity hop flavors reflecting the aroma, specifically tropical stone fruit, citrus peel, and a hint of herbal cedar. Malt flavor is low to medium-low, providing a soft, grainy sweetness. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as low due to the rounded body. The finish is smooth and off-dry, with a lingering, juicy aftertaste that avoids any hop harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notably soft and creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. A gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present. Entirely smooth on the palate with no astringency or raw grain harshness.
