Demon Juice is a beer born out of friendship across borders. Back in 2016 Jacqueline Weycker, out of Green Bay, Wisconsin, was an exchange student in Copenhagen, living with a host family at Amager. Jacqueline – or Jackie – came from a brewing background as back in 1996, her dad, Brent had founded one of the earliest craft breweries back home in Green Bay: Titletown Brewing Co, located in an old train depot registered in the National Register of Historic Places. Knowing her interest in beer and brewing, her Danish host family took her to Amager Bryghus where she immediately became a friend and volunteer pouring beer at a couple of Amager events with the skill and professionalism that only an upbringing in the beer world can give you! In the spring of 2019 Jackie messaged us, telling that she was gonna be back in Europe, this time bringing her whole family on a holiday. We quickly arranged a stop-over in Denmark, this time to make an official collaboration beer between Titletown and Amager.

Amager Bryghus Demon Juice Hazy IPA er voksen „multifrugtjuice“! Her er tale om en New England IPA eller Hazy IPA, som Amager Bryghus kalder den. Kært barn har mange navne, men de dækker alle over det samme. Nemlig en IPA med masser af tropiske frugtnoter, lækker sødme og samtidig en forfriskende bitterhed i eftersmagen. Hvis du kan lide frugtige IPA’er, så er det her helt sikkert en øl for dig. Denne øl er rigtig godt til kylling i alle afskygninger eller bare som en læskende øl til festen.

Amager Bryghus startede i 2007, hvor de to kammerater og hjemmebryggere, Morten og Jacob, blev enige om, at der manglede et bryggeri på Amager. Egentlig var meningen at starte stille og roligt ud, da pengene til større investeringer ikke lige var til stede. Men ved et „uheld“ opnåede et af deres første bryg en Top 50 placering på listen over de bedste øl i verden på en amerikansk hjemmeside, og så gik det pludseligt stærkt. Siden da har flere af Amager Bryghus‘ øl været fast inventar på listen over de 100 bedste øl i verden på hjemmesiden ratebeer.com. Amager Bryghus‘ varemærke er de lækre og smagsfulde IPA’er og ikke mindst deres mørke øl, som de er berømte for. Links

Corpo medio, carbonatazione morbida. Al palato, con consistenza cremosa, setosa e vellutata, è una vera macedonia di succosa e matura frutta, croccanti agrumi, il tutto arricchito da una delicata nota speziata e di malto. Finale lungo e secco con amaro medio-basso di carattere erbaceo e resinoso.
