Althaia Galatea presents a modern, Mediterranean interpretation of a German Pils, elevated by a sophisticated dry-hopping regimen. The appearance is a striking opalescent gold with a persistent white head. The sensory profile is dominated by a vibrant bouquet of tropical fruit and floral notes driven by Mosaic, paired with the distinctive white wine and crushed grape character of Nelson Sauvin. While it maintains a clean, grainy malt backbone typical of the style, the 6.3% ABV provides a slightly fuller presence. It finishes remarkably dry and crisp, with a balanced bitterness that ensures high drinkability despite its elevated strength.

Appearance. Gold (4-6 SRM), opalescent with slight haze; features a creamy, long-lasting white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring tropical mango, passionfruit, and floral notes alongside vinous white grape. Supported by a low to medium grainy-sweet and cracker-like malt character. Clean fermentation profile with no esters.

Taste. Initial grainy malt sweetness is quickly overtaken by intense hop flavors of tropical fruit and gooseberry. Medium-high bitterness is firm but smooth, leading into a very dry, crisp finish. The aftertaste lingers with a clean hop bitterness and a touch of bready malt.

Mouthfeel. Medium body, slightly fuller than a traditional example due to the higher gravity. High carbonation with a crisp, refreshing bite. Subtle alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated.
