AltGUST Crǎiasa is a refreshing wheat ale characterized by its luminous, hazy pale yellow appearance. This recipe emphasizes a high proportion of wheat malt over barley, resulting in a soft, bready foundation with hints of honey and vanilla. The aroma is defined by zesty, citrusy orange peel and a delicate, perfumy coriander spice, blending seamlessly with light herbal hop notes. Appearance. Pale straw to deep yellow (SRM 2-4) with a very cloudy, milky appearance due to the starch haze from the wheat. Features a dense, white, moussy head with excellent retention.

Taste. Initial impression is bready and grainy from the wheat malt, followed by moderate zesty orange citrus fruitiness. Subtle herbal-spicy flavors, including lemony coriander, are well-balanced. Hop bitterness is low to medium-low, providing a refreshing support that leads to a crisp, dry finish with a light, clean lingering bitterness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a distinct smoothness and light creaminess from the wheat. High carbonation provides an effervescent, refreshing character without any harshness or astringency.
