… Y fue así que nosotros nos enamoramos de la cerveza, por accidente. Fue un día de otoño de 1998 cuando tuvimos nuestro primer encuentro con una cerveza artesanal… fue amor a primera vista y el inicio de un camino en el que nunca volveríamos a mirar para atrás.
Desde entonces, nos mueve la pasión por elaborar cervezas que sorprendan y que estimulen a quienes quieren aventurarse a probar una cerveza de verdad, una cerveza con cuerpo, aroma y sabor capaz de transformar momentos de conversación, de disfrute, de celebración, en experiencias inolvidables.
En 1825, el médico irlandés Andrew Blest, un aventurero y emprendedor inquieto soñó con beber una buena cerveza. Cansado de no poder disfrutar una cerveza fresca, decidió un día poner fin a esta tragedia y a pasos de su residencia en la Quebrada Elías, construyó la primera cervecería chilena a los pies del Cerro Alegre donde hoy está la Plaza Aníbal Pinto.
Esta historia nos inspiró a ser parte de ese mismo espíritu aventurero y luego de mucho tiempo buscando un lugar donde desarrollar nuestro oficio cervecero, encontramos el lugar perfecto a sólo unos pasos del lugar donde Andrew Blest dio origen a la historia de la cerveza en nuestro país.
