Appearance. Deep brown with garnet highlights (SRM 22-26); hazy from being unfined and unfiltered; moderate off-white head with light lacing and poor retention.

Aroma. High intensity; sharp, clean lactic sourness with notes of tart lemon; prominent vanilla and botanical cola spice aromas including cinnamon and nutmeg; low bready malt character; no hop aroma.

Taste. Sharp lactic sourness dominates initially, quickly followed by the rounding flavor of vanilla and a botanical cola spice medley. Low crackery and bready malt provides a thin but necessary support. Hop bitterness is undetectable. Clean fermentation with no acetic or vinegary notes. Finish is off-dry with a lingering spice and vanilla presence.
