Alpenfire Cider Flame | Methode Champenoise

Alpenfire Cider Flame is an elegant Specialty Cider crafted using the traditional Methode Champenoise. Utilizing heritage Foxwhelp and Muscadet de Dieppe apples, this cider presents a sophisticated sensory profile characterized by crackling carbonation and bracing, bright acidity. The sharp Foxwhelp provides a zesty citrus-like tartness, while the Muscadet de Dieppe contributes a delicate tannic structure and aromatic depth. Fermented to a bone-dry finish, it offers subtle yeast-derived complexity from bottle conditioning, resulting in a clean, champagne-like experience that emphasizes pure fruit expression, refined apple skin character, and a refreshing, lively effervescence suited for celebratory pairing.
Appearance. Pale straw (SRM 1-2); brilliant clarity; fine-beaded white head with moderate retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity fresh apple aroma; sharp, acidic notes from Foxwhelp apples; earthy and slightly spicy skin notes from Muscadet de Dieppe; subtle bready yeast notes from lees aging; no hop or malt character.
Taste. Initial bright acidity; crisp, tart apple flavor; very low bitterness from apple tannins; no residual sweetness; bone-dry finish; clean and refreshing with a lingering tart apple skin aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body; very high, crackling carbonation; light alcohol warmth; no creaminess; light astringency from apple tannins.
