This New England style Double IPA delivers a sensory explosion driven by an extravagant blend of New Zealand and American hops. Deep Pulp presents a lush, silky-smooth profile that leans heavily into intense tropical fruit and dank resinous notes. The sensory experience is defined by a saturated juice character, where layers of passionfruit, citrus, and stone fruit dominate the palate. Despite its high strength, the beer maintains a high level of drinkability with a clean, neutral malt backbone that supports the hop intensity without adding heavy sweetness. It captures the essence of a modern, hop-forward powerhouse with a sophisticated, velvety texture.
Appearance. Light orange to gold (6-8 SRM) with a prominent, opaque haze typical of the New England style. Topped by a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of passionfruit, mango, and citrus zest alongside a distinctive dank, resinous undertone. A very low, neutral grainy maltiness exists in the background with a clean fermentation profile and a hint of smooth alcohol.
Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of tropical fruit and citrus dominate the initial impression. Moderately high bitterness provides structure without being harsh, supported by a soft, unobtrusive malt character.
