This vibrant Hazy IPA delivers a lush sensory profile built on a grain bill of Lager malt, Wheat, and Oats, which provides a soft, pillowy foundation. The aroma is an immediate citrus explosion of grapefruit and orange, driven by the intense combination of Citra and Citra Cryo. Apollo hops introduce complex, dank layers of guava and mango, accented by a refreshing wave of pine resin. Fermented with an expressive fruity yeast, the beer harmonizes deep tropical esters with a saturated hop character. The result is a smooth, juice-forward experience that balances its aromatic intensity with a refined, approachable bitterness.
Appearance. Straw to light golden (4 SRM) with a deep, opaque haze that creates a luminous glow. It is topped by a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a saturated 'juice bomb' character of orange and grapefruit. Secondary notes of guava, ripe mango, and a distinct dank pine resin are prominent. The malt provides a low, clean, bready backdrop, while expressive fruity fermentation esters support the tropical hop profile.
Taste. High fruity hop flavors dominated by orange juice and grapefruit zest. The mid-palate introduces succulent mango and guava fruitiness, supported by a soft, grainy malt backbone. Perceived bitterness is moderate and smooth, lacking any harshness. The finish is off-dry and clean, leaving a lingering impression of tropical fruit and light resin.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, creamy, and pillowy texture from the oats and wheat. Carbonation is moderate and the finish is exceptionally smooth. There is very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and no detectable astringency.
