This Hazy IPA is a vibrant sensory celebration, bursting with a "tutti fruiti" character that lives up to its festive name. The aroma and palate are dominated by an intense tropical profile led by lush mango and underscored by a zesty citrus medley of lemon and lime. Unique notes of bergamot add a sophisticated floral-citrus complexity that sharpens the profile. The malt provides a soft, bready foundation that supports the heavy hop load without distraction. With its smooth, plush texture and a gentle warmth from the 7.5% ABV, it delivers a festive, juice-like experience that remains eminently drinkable through a soft, low-bitterness finish.
Appearance. Deep straw to light orange (4-6 SRM) with a significant, opaque haze that creates a luminous glow. Topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aroma featuring a complex blend of tropical mango and vibrant citrus zest. Distinctive notes of bergamot, lemon, and lime peel are prominent. A clean, bready, and lightly grainy malt backbone sits in the background, free of caramel or toast.
Taste. Very high fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma, with juicy mango and a sharp, citrusy zestiness. The malt flavor is low, providing a neutral grainy support. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as low due to the soft, medium-full body. Finishes off-dry and smooth with a lingering, non-harsh tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture and no harshness. Carbonation is moderate. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth provides a pleasant glow without being hot or fusel.
