This hop-forward character is anchored by a sturdy base of pure malt, featuring the distinctively toasted, sugary, and resinous notes of Caramel malt. Appearance. Dark golden (8-10 SRM) with high clarity. Topped by a moderately large, off-white head with persistent retention and light lacing.
Aroma. Moderately high hop intensity featuring classic grapefruit citrus and piney resin from Cascade. Supporting this is a low to moderate malt aroma of bread crust and light caramel. Very clean fermentation profile with negligible esters.
