Within Your Eyes is a vibrant American IPA that showcases a modern hop trifecta. Belma hops lead with distinctive notes of ripe strawberry and melon, while Strata adds depth through layers of passion fruit and a touch of resinous dankness. Mosaic rounds out the sensory profile with its signature blueberry and tropical mango character. The 6% ABV provides a lean, supportive frame for these intense fruit aromatics. This expression balances a firm bitterness against a clean, grainy malt backbone, resulting in a crisp, hop-forward experience that finishes dry and refreshing, true to its stylistic roots.
Appearance. Medium gold with a slight, modern haze (SRM 7). Features a medium-sized, persistent white head with good lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent strawberry and melon, paired with passion fruit and grapefruit. Complex notes of blueberry and tropical fruit are evident. A low, clean, grainy-sweet malt scent provides the foundation with a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Dominated by hop flavors of mango, berry, and citrus. Initial impression is fruity and bright, transitioning into a medium-high bitterness. Low grainy malt and light toast notes support the hop profile. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering berry-like and resinous hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a lively mouthfeel. Very light, smooth alcohol warmth is present.
