The sensory journey begins with an explosion of tropical fruit, specifically passionfruit and ripe mango, layered over a bright lime and grapefruit citrus core. A clean, subtle grainy malt base provides just enough support to keep the profile balanced without overshadowing the intense hop oils. The experience is crisp and refreshing, concluding with a firm, resinous bitterness and a clean, dry finish that invites another sip, perfectly capturing the brewery's modern, hop-forward ethos.
Appearance. Medium gold color (approx. 7 SRM) with a bright clarity, showing only a very faint hop haze. It features a medium-sized, frothy white head with excellent persistence and intricate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominates, characterized by punchy passionfruit and peach from Galaxy, alongside concentrated lime and grapefruit notes from Citra BBC. Azacca adds a layer of ripe mango and pineapple. A low, clean, crackery malt aroma sits in the background with a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward and bright. Intense flavors of tropical fruit and citrus pith mirror the aroma. The bitterness is medium-high and firm, providing a sharp counterpoint to the subtle, grainy malt sweetness. It finishes medium-dry and clean, with a lingering resinous and fruity aftertaste.
