This West Coast Double IPA delivers an assertive sensory experience defined by its classic hop quartet. A bold piney and resinous foundation from Simcoe and Columbus provides an earthy depth, while Centennial and Amarillo contribute vibrant layers of grapefruit zest, floral blossoms, and bright orange oil. The profile is unapologetically bitter yet remarkably clean, supported by a lean, neutral malt backbone that allows the hop intensity to remain the focus. Effervescent and dry, it finishes with a lingering resinous grip and a subtle, well-integrated warmth that underscores its strength without sacrificing drinkability.

Appearance. Deep gold to light copper (8-10 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a moderate, persistent off-white head that leaves consistent lacing.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma characterized by pungent pine, damp earth, and resinous spice. Secondary notes of dried orange peel, grapefruit, and a hint of floral perfume are evident. Malt is low and neutral, presenting as a faint cracker-like scent.

Taste. High hop bitterness hits early and persists into a long, dry finish. Flavors of citrus zest, resin, and peppery spice dominate. The malt provides a soft, grainy support without residual sweetness. Fermentation is clean with very low esters and no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from hop oils. Moderate-high carbonation provides a crisp bite. A gentle, pleasant alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated.
