Appearance. Medium gold to light reddish-amber (SRM 8-12) with a medium-sized, off-white head that exhibits good persistence and lacing. Clarity is clear with a very slight haze allowable from dry-hopping.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent Chinook characteristics of resinous pine, pungent grapefruit, and a touch of herbal spice. Low, clean, grainy maltiness supports the hop presentation. The fermentation profile is clean with no significant esters.
Taste. Medium-high to high hop flavor reflecting the aroma with strong notes of resin, pine, and citrus. Low, grainy maltiness provides a supportive background with light toasted notes. Bitterness is firm and medium-high, leading to a dry to medium-dry finish. The aftertaste is hoppy and bitter but remains clean.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth texture and no hop-derived harshness. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively mouthfeel. Very light, smooth alcohol warmth is present at 6% ABV.
