Alefarm Brewing’s I See A Darkness reinterprets the American Stout through an expressive hop profile, balancing charred depths with modern fruit notes. A robust foundation of dark chocolate and espresso-like roast provides the canvas for the unique HBC1019 and East Kent Goldings dry-hop. The HBC1019 lends surprising layers of honeydew melon and stone fruit, while the East Kent Goldings anchors the beer with a traditional floral and earthy spice. Despite its lower-strength ABV, it maintains a satisfyingly creamy presence and a firm bitterness, finishing with a lingering resinous and roasted dryness that invites another sip.
