High Spirits presents an assertive and modern take on the Double IPA, showcasing a vibrant hop profile driven by Strata CGX, Belma, and Enigma. The nose is an intense bouquet of passion fruit and cannabis from the Strata CGX, accented by the distinctive strawberry and melon notes of Belma. Enigma adds a sophisticated layer of redcurrant and white grape. On the palate, a clean, neutral malt base allows these complex fruit characters to shine alongside a firm, resinous bitterness. This 8% ale finishes dry and crisp, with a lingering tropical berry presence and a smooth, integrated alcohol warmth that enhances its drinkability.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale copper (7–9 SRM) with a slight, modern haze. Features a thick, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Prominent intensity featuring a complex blend of tropical fruit, fresh strawberry, and dank cannabis. Pronounced notes of passion fruit and citrus are layered over redcurrant and subtle melon. Malt is low and neutral, providing a clean, grainy backdrop with a faint, clean alcohol note.

Taste. Intensely hoppy with an initial impression of sweet tropical fruit and red berries. Mid-palate reveals flavors of grapefruit and pine. The bitterness is high but smooth, avoiding harshness. Malt flavor is low and soft, supporting the hops without adding sweetness. It finishes very dry with a long, resinous, and fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate to high, providing a prickly sensation that enhances the dry finish. A gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but not solventy.
