This classic New England IPA presents a vibrant, immersive sensory experience defined by a signature juice-like character. An opaque, straw-colored pour leads with an explosive aroma of overripe mango, pineapple, and bright citrus. The palate follows suit, delivering high-intensity tropical fruit flavors supported by a soft, bready malt backbone. Despite its vivid hop presence, the perceived bitterness remains low and smooth, ensuring a drinkable finish that lacks any harsh hop burn. At an approachable 5.7% ABV, it balances a lush, medium body with a refreshing, off-dry snap, capturing the pure exhilaration and smooth mouthfeel intended by the brewer.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (4 SRM) with a dense, uniform haze providing a luminous shine. Topped with a rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruit (mango, passion fruit) and sweet citrus. A clean, bready, and lightly grainy malt character persists in the background with no caramel or toast notes.
Taste. High to very high fruity hop flavor featuring stone fruit and citrus. Malt flavor is low but provides a supportive bready foundation. Bitterness is moderate but masked by the soft body, leading to an off-dry, clean finish without harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, silky, and rounded texture. Carbonation is moderate and smooth. No alcohol warmth or astringency is present.
