Aurora is a vibrant American IPA that beautifully marries the piney heritage of Simcoe and Chinook with the modern tropical intensity of Idaho 7 and Vic Secret. Fermented with Kveik yeast, the sensory profile is enhanced by subtle, clean orange-citrus esters that weave through a potent hop canopy of resinous pine, grapefruit, and ripe pineapple. The 6.8% ABV provides a sturdy foundation for the intense hop character without overshadowing the dry, crisp finish. A light, grainy malt backbone ensures the complex hop oils remain the focus, resulting in a balanced yet decidedly bitter experience that captures the essence of contemporary hop-forward brewing.

Appearance. Color is a deep medium gold (approximately 8 SRM) with a slight haze. It features a medium-sized, off-white head with good persistence and significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma characterized by resinous pine, grapefruit, and spicy notes from Chinook and Simcoe, layered with tropical pineapple and mango from Idaho 7 and Vic Secret. Low, clean, grainy malt support with subtle citrus esters from the Kveik yeast.

Taste. The initial impression is hop-forward and assertive. Strong flavors of pine and resin transition into tropical fruit notes of pineapple and passion fruit. A low, clean, bready malt flavor provides support. Bitterness is firm and high, leading to a dry, crisp finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste of citrus zest and pine.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively mouthfeel. A very light, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, with no astringency.
