Aiden presents a sophisticated sensory journey through a modern Double IPA landscape. The aromatic profile is headlined by the tropical intensity of BRU-1, delivering distinct notes of fresh pineapple and stone fruit. This is layered with the complex blueberry and resinous depth of Mosaic Lupomax, while Cashmere Lupomax introduces a soft, herbal melon and a whisper of lemon zest. Amarillo rounds out the experience with a classic bright orange citrus and floral lift. The palate is defined by firm bitterness and a clean, dry finish, supported by a neutral malt base that allows the intense hop saturation to remain the focal point.
Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper (approx. 8 SRM) with a slight, modern dry-hop haze. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent pineapple, blueberry, and stone fruit. Secondary notes of citrus peel, pine, and a hint of melon. Malt is supportive and neutral, with a light, clean alcohol presence and no solventy notes.
Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors mirroring the aroma, focusing on tropical fruit, citrus, and herbal lemon. Bitterness is moderately high and firm but lacks harshness. Malt flavor is low, soft, and bready, leading to a dry to medium-dry finish with a lingering hoppy, bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is medium-high. Provides a restrained, well-integrated alcohol warmth and no hop-derived astringency.
