Appearance. 3-5 SRM. Pale gold to deep yellow in color. Brilliant clarity with a moderate white head that shows good retention and leaves light lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring earthy and floral hop notes from the East Kent Goldings, complemented by a subtle dark fruit and spicy character from the Bramling Cross. Low bready malt aroma with a very clean fermentation profile and minimal fruity esters.
Taste. Initial hop-forward impression with moderate to moderately high bitterness. Malt flavors are low and bready, lacking any caramel sweetness. Hop flavors of herbal spice and blackcurrant are pronounced, leading into a medium-dry, crisp finish with a lingering, clean bitterness.
