This Straight Sour Beer presents a vibrant sensory profile inspired by an Italian spritz, weaving together a sharp lactic acidity with sophisticated botanical layers. The aroma is led by high-intensity notes of tangerine and tropical passionfruit, underscored by the vinous character of white wine and the distinctive herbal, bitter orange essence of Aperol. On the palate, a clean, tart citrus drive dominates, supported by a subtle cracker-like malt backbone. The finish is remarkably dry and effervescent, where the 7.5% ABV provides a refined, well-integrated warmth that complements the crisp acidity and complex fruit-forward character of this modern sour ale.

Appearance. Pale orange to soft amber (5-8 SRM) derived from Aperol and fruit; slight haze from fruit solids; medium-sized white head with moderate to poor retention; highly effervescent.

Aroma. High intensity; dominant lactic sourness and sharp tangerine citrus; prominent tropical passionfruit and vinous white wine notes; secondary herbal and botanical complexity from Aperol; low biscuity malt; no hop aroma; clean fermentation.

Taste. Initial impression is sharply acidic; clean lactic sourness dominates, layered with tart tangerine and passionfruit flavors; dry white wine and a light herbal bitterness from Aperol add depth; very low crackery malt flavor; undetectable hop bitterness; dry, crisp finish with a lingering tart citrus aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body; high carbonation; noticeable alcohol warmth; crisp acidity; refreshing and prickly on the tongue with no astringency.
