This Amber Special presents a captivating fusion of traditional Czech malt character and the intense heat of Naga Jolokia peppers. A deep copper hue and creamy off-white head lead into an aroma defined by toasted bread crust and subtle caramel, punctuated by the floral, slightly fruity scent of the chilies. The palate begins with a balanced malt sweetness before the Naga Jolokia takes center stage, delivering a building, prickly heat that lingers on the tongue. While the chili character is assertive, the medium-bodied base provides enough structure to keep the experience harmonious, bold, and distinctively spicy.

Appearance. Deep amber to copper (14-18 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a dense, persistent off-white to light tan head that leaves moderate lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring rich, bready malt with notes of toasted crust and light caramel. The Naga Jolokia contribution is distinct, offering a spicy, floral, and slightly tropical fruit-like pepper aroma. Hop presence is low and secondary to the spice.

Taste. Initial impression of smooth, toasted malt and sweet caramel. This is quickly followed by the sharp, spicy flavor of Naga Jolokia peppers.
