The extended boiling time encourages deep Maillard reactions, yielding intense flavors of scorched caramel and dark chocolate that meld with the creamy sweetness of added lactose. Aromas of freshly roasted coffee and sun-dried prunes dominate the profile, signaling the beer's richness.
