Akerbeltz Gorrasta is a characterful American Amber Ale that highlights the rich, indulgent depths of caramelized barley malts. While the palate leads with a notable malty sweetness from the specialty Caramel malts, it maintains an original, balanced personality—smooth and approachable with a purposefully restrained bitterness. Appearance. Deep amber to coppery-red in color with excellent clarity. It supports a moderately large, off-white head with good retention and light lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring a clear caramel malt character with notes of toasted crust. Hop aroma is moderate-low, presenting citrusy and slightly spicy notes. Fermentation is clean with very low fruity esters.
