Aerofab Susanoo is an assertive Double IPA that showcases a sophisticated hop quintet led by Citra and Simcoe. At 8% ABV, it presents an intense aromatic profile of bright citrus, resinous pine, and tropical papaya, fueled by Centennial and Ekuanot. The pour reveals a shimmering gold hue with a persistent white head. On the palate, a clean, supportive malt base allows a firm, structural bitterness from Warrior hops to shine without becoming harsh. The finish is remarkably dry and crisp, typical of the style, leaving a lingering trail of grapefruit zest and forest floor.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale copper. Excellent clarity with a slight, modern sheen. Large, pillowy white head with fine beads and exceptional lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop bouquet. Initial notes of sharp grapefruit and lemon zest transition into resinous pine and damp earth. Secondary aromas of melon and tropical berry emerge as it warms. Malt is minimal and clean, suggesting pale crackers.

Taste. Bold hop-forward impact. Flavors of tangerine, pine needles, and subtle mango dominate. Bitterness is high and persistent but clean, balanced by a lean, grainy malt backbone. Fermentation is very clean with no esters. Finish is bone-dry with a long, resinous aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a lively prickle. A well-integrated, gentle alcohol warmth is present but never solventy or hot.
