Levant presents a complex fusion of rustic grains and bold hop character, elevating the American Brown Ale style with a distinctive depth. The aroma and palate are defined by a robust malt backbone featuring layers of chocolate and toasted caramel, uniquely enhanced by the nutty, earthy qualities of buckwheat. An assertive hop presence provides vibrant citrusy and resinous notes that slice through the malty sweetness, maintaining a firm but approachable bitterness. At 7% ABV, it carries a smooth, integrated warmth that supports a medium-full body. The result is a balanced, modern brown ale with a crisp finish and lingering notes of dark cocoa and pine.

Appearance. Deep mahogany to dark brown (SRM 28–32). Pours with a moderate, creamy, light tan head that shows good retention and leaves delicate lacing. Clarity is clear, revealing ruby highlights when held to the light.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Rich malty-sweet aromatics of milk chocolate and toasted bread are complemented by an earthy, buckwheat nuttiness. Hop aroma is moderate, featuring American-style citrus and resinous pine. Very low fruity esters are present, overshadowed by the malt and hop interplay.

Taste. Initial impression is malty-rich with flavors of chocolate and caramel, immediately followed by an earthy grain complexity from the buckwheat. Medium-high bitterness provides a firm balance to the malt. Hop flavors are moderate, leaning toward grapefruit peel and resin. The finish is medium-dry, leaving a lingering aftertaste of toasted nuts and citrus oils. No roasted or burnt character is present.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is moderately high, providing a lively scrub on the palate. A light, pleasant alcohol warmth is noticeable, reflecting its 7% strength, without being harsh or fusel.
