This celebratory Imperial Stout presents an imposing sensory profile defined by its massive scale. Viscous and midnight black, it radiates an intense aroma of high-percentage dark chocolate and freshly ground espresso. The palate is dominated by bold, charred roast and rich molasses, where a significant malty sweetness skillfully buffers the heat of its 16.66% ABV. Layers of dried plum and black currant emerge mid-sip, leading to a lingering, bittersweet finish of baker’s chocolate and warming spirits. It is a decadent, chewy experience that balances aggressive roasted bitterness with a luscious, velvety texture, embodying the quintessential intensity of a high-gravity Russian-style stout.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (SRM 40+). Pours with a thick, deep tan head that shows moderate to low retention due to high alcohol, leaving heavy legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity, featuring a complex blend of bittersweet chocolate, heavy roasted coffee, and molasses. Nuanced esters of dark fruits like prunes and raisins are present, accompanied by a noticeable but smooth alcohol presence.
