Achel Superior Dark - Extra Bruin is a powerhouse evolution of the traditional Belgian Dubbel, presenting a deep chestnut brown hue. The sensory experience is dominated by an intense, multi-layered malt profile featuring caramelized sugar and toasted bread, accented by a distinctive note of liquorice. Pronounced esters of dried fruit, particularly raisins and figs, weave through the aroma and palate, supported by subtle peppery phenols. Appearance. Deep chestnut brown to dark copper (17-18 SRM) with a clear, reddish depth. Features a large, dense, and long-lasting creamy off-white head with excellent lacing.
