ABYSS Brewing Exotica is a vibrant Wild Specialty Beer that captures the essence of a tropical summer. It leads with the intense, musky sweetness of Pink Guava, beautifully balanced by the sharp, zesty brightness of Sicilian Lemon. The wild fermentation provides a clean, lactic acidity that heightens the fruit profile, while the base remains light and refreshing at 5.3% ABV. Expect a crisp, dry finish where the tropical fruit esters linger alongside a subtle, funky complexity. This heavily fruited sour is designed for effortless drinkability, offering a sophisticated interplay between citrus tartness and exotic fruit notes.

Appearance. Pours a hazy, glowing coral-pink with a frothy, light-pink head that dissipates moderately fast, leaving a fine bead of lacing; the color is directly influenced by the heavy addition of Pink Guava.

Aroma. High aromatic intensity featuring punchy tropical notes of ripe Pink Guava and a sharp, refreshing spray of Sicilian Lemon zest. A clean, lactic tartness underlies the fruit, accompanied by a very subtle earthy funk and light cracker-like malt.

Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, refreshing tartness. Pronounced flavors of Pink Guava provide a tropical depth, while Sicilian Lemon adds a clean, citrus acidity that dominates the mid-palate. Bitterness is nearly non-existent, and the finish is very dry and crisp with lingering notes of lemon peel and exotic fruit.

Mouthfeel. Light to medium-light body with moderate to high carbonation that creates a spritzy, tongue-tingling sensation. It is highly refreshing and crisp with no perceptible alcohol warmth and a clean, non-astringent finish.
