IPA - India Pale Ale 6.6 º 65 IBU
Abysmo Minotauro is a bold American IPA that bridges the gap between classic resinous intensity and new-world vibrancy. It presents a deep amber hue, signaling a sturdy malt foundation that supports its assertive hop-forward character. The sensory experience is lead by high-intensity aromas of fresh citrus zest and forest-like pine. On the palate, these cues translate into vivid grapefruit and resinous flavors, bolstered by a clean, toasted malt backbone. A firm, lingering bitterness defines the finish, providing the sharp, clean conclusion expected of the style, while the medium body ensures the complex hop profile remains the centerpiece.
Appearance. Medium reddish-amber (approx. 12-14 SRM). Generally clear with a slight haze permissible. Features a persistent, medium-sized, off-white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Prominent to intense hop aroma characterized by grapefruit, citrus peel, and resinous pine. A low to medium-low clean, grainy maltiness provides a supportive background with subtle hints of toasted caramel. Clean fermentation profile with very low esters.
Taste. High hop flavor featuring citrus and piney resin. Low to medium-low clean, grainy maltiness with light toast and caramel notes. Bitterness is firm and medium-high to high, lingering into a dry to medium-dry finish. The aftertaste is hoppy and bitter with a supportive malt character.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth texture. Moderate to medium-high carbonation. Displays a very light, smooth alcohol warmth consistent with its strength, without any harshness or astringency.
