This American IPA showcases a sophisticated blend of traditional and modern hop science. The sensory profile is led by the intense tropical punch of Galaxy and the unique stone-fruit character of UK-grown Harlequin. These primary notes are elegantly layered over the classic citrus and floral aromatics provided by UK Cascade, while a concentrated addition of Loral Cryo provides a refined herbal and peppery finish. The beer is underpinned by a clean, crackery malt base that allows the intricate hop oils to remain the focus. It concludes with a crisp, assertive bitterness and a lingering fruity resonance that defines its refreshing, trans-Atlantic character.
Appearance. Deep gold to light amber in color (8-10 SRM) with a brilliant clarity. It is topped by a dense, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing as it recedes.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring prominent notes of passion fruit, peach, and mango. Secondary aromas of grapefruit zest and wildflower honey emerge alongside a faint, clean, grainy-sweet malt presence. Fermentation is clean with no noticeable esters.
Taste. High hop flavor echoes the aroma with vivid tropical fruit and citrus rind. The UK Harlequin provides a distinct peach-like sweetness, while Loral Cryo adds a floral complexity. Bitterness is firm and clean, balancing the minimal toasty malt character. The finish is dry and crisp with a long, resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from the high hop loading. Carbonation is moderate-high, creating a lively mouthfeel. Very light, clean alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated.
