Appearance. Color is jet black and opaque. It features a thick, creamy, deep tan head with moderate retention and visible legs due to the high alcohol content and viscosity.
Aroma. High intensity aroma featuring dominant notes of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and burnt grain. These are layered with distinct sweet maple syrup and aromatic cinnamon spice, plus underlying esters of prune and raisin and a clean, warming alcohol presence.
Taste. Rich and complex; initial impressions of sweet maple and buttery caramel evolve into intense flavors of bittersweet cocoa and espresso. Warm cinnamon spice provides depth, supported by moderate hop bitterness and a deep roasted grain character. The finish is bittersweet and lingering, showcasing a harmonious balance of roast, spice, and sweetness.
Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and exceptionally chewy with a velvety, luscious texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. A significant, smooth alcohol warmth is present and well-integrated into the thick body.
